Đồng Khởi

The rising opened on the morning of 17 January 1960 at Đình Rắn and the Vàm Nước post, in old xã Định Thủy, huyện Mỏ Cày Nam. Clause 70 merges Định Thủy, Phước Hiệp, and Bình Khánh into xã Đồng Khởi and does not say the house moved. Nhà truyền thống opened on 17 January 2000, nearly 5,000 m², on the old province-chief compound. The torch is 12 m high and 4.5 m across, with three wings. Đình Rắn, also called đình Định Nhơn, is 500 m northeast, rebuilt in 2005, 11 m by 25 m. The eight gold characters on the stone, from Hồ Chí Minh, read “Anh dũng Đồng Khởi, thắng Mỹ diệt ngụy”.
The anniversary gatherings use 17 January. The road is across Cầu Hàm Luông on Quốc lộ 57, more than 10 km to thị trấn Mỏ Cày Nam, then left about 4 km, or about 15 km from the city. Do not add those into one distance. Công viên Đồng Khởi in town is not this house. Bảo tàng Bến Tre is 146 Hùng Vương, open 07:00–17:00 every day, or 07:30–11:00 and 13:30–17:00.
