The 12th buckwheat-flower festival opens tonight in Đồng Văn. The Tuyên Quang provincial portal, posted at 15:25 on 22 October 2026, sets the official opening at 20:00 on 25 October at Youth Square in Đồng Văn commune, under the title “Âm vang miền đá”. It says the program will go out live on TTV, on Báo Tuyên Quang Online, and on the paper’s digital platforms, and that local broadcasters will relay it. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on 13 October, and again on 23 October, prints that same hour and the same square, and both call the 20:00 start expected. Tuổi Trẻ on 21 October prints 20:00 on 25 October at Youth Square. Znews on 22 October prints the same hour and square and calls the opening expected. VietnamPlus at 06:04 on 25 October says the festival opens on the evening of 25 October in Đồng Văn commune. That morning piece does not print 20:00, and it does not print Youth Square. None of these pages prints a ticket. Check on arrival.

Sunday’s daytime stops are already on the printed calendar. The ministry’s 13 October notice puts an OCOP and local-produce display in the Đồng Văn old quarter from 21 through 25 October, so today is the last date on that line. The provincial portal also runs an OCOP display from 21 through 25 October and does not name the old quarter. The Lùng Tám ethnic-culture day is 24 and 25 October in the portal and in both ministry notices. The 23 October ministry piece says that day introduces traditional crafts. No hour is printed for the old-quarter display or for Lùng Tám. Check on arrival. On the flowers, the portal counts 293.37 hectares planted of a 400-hectare plan, in 13 of 22 communes, including 100 hectares in Đồng Văn, 50 in Sà Phìn, 47 in Phố Bảng, and 39.4 in Lũng Cú. It says the first sowing is in bloom and setting seed, with the fullest bloom expected at the opening, and the second sowing is starting to bud, with flowers already out along National Highway 4C. The ministry on 23 October says the province has sown about 400 hectares in three waves so the bloom lasts from October through the end of December. The ministry on 13 October describes those 400 hectares as the planting plan, divided into three sowings, with the thickest bloom aimed at the opening week. The 23 October notice lists flower stops along route 4C, at Cổng trời, the Yên Minh rest stop, the Thẩm Mã slope, Nhà của Pao, Lũng Cẩm culture village, the Vương house relic, the karst-plateau museum, Lô Lô Chải, the Lũng Cú area, the Nho Quế boat landing, and Pả Vi culture village. The 13 October notice also names Thạch Sơn Thần, the centers of the communes, the road into Nhà của Pao, and the road down to the Nho Quế hydropower boat landing, and it does not name the museum.

Sunday is the day the flag-tower stop joins the stop on the village road. Tuổi Trẻ on 21 October, citing the People’s Committee of Lũng Cú commune, stops every passenger vehicle, and trucks carrying construction materials, on the road into Lô Lô Chải. The stretch runs from the junction at the Lũng Cú boarding primary school and the junction at Tiệm Cơm Vị Nhà, from 15 October 2026 through 28 February 2027. Znews on 22 October quotes the commune chairman, Trần Đức Chung, with the village stop from 17 October 2026 through 28 February 2027 on the same two junctions. Znews does not mention construction trucks. Sunday 25 October falls after both start dates. Both reports stop passenger vehicles on the flag-tower road on Saturday and Sunday, from the border-guard post up to the tower, from 15 October 2026 through 28 February 2027. Today is Sunday, so that stretch is inside the printed rule. Tuổi Trẻ prints one pass list after the rules: vehicles on duty, four-wheeled motor vehicles that carry tourists inside the commune, the commune’s self-managed motorbike-taxi group, and vehicles belonging to residents of Lô Lô Chải. Znews gives the village those four, then gives the flag-tower road the first three and leaves the residents’ vehicles off it. The guest-house yard takes vehicles under seven seats, motorbikes, and scooters. The primary-school yard, the secondary-school yard, and the old-market yard take cars and motorbikes. Tuổi Trẻ names a further yard at the commune People’s Committee, “UBND xã Lũng Cú”. Znews prints that yard as “Sân UBND xã Lũng”. Neither report prints a fare. Check on arrival. Znews adds two lines Tuổi Trẻ does not: construction in Lô Lô Chải is paused from 20 October through the end of February 2027, and on Friday and Saturday nights the village keeps a campfire, a bronze drum, folk song, a group dance, and a folk exchange. Sunday night sits outside that weekly line.

The photograph is Lô Lô Chải. The file’s description says the view is from the Lũng Cú flag tower, and the file date is 5 October 2022. Commons files the picture under Hà Giang. The 2026 notices place the village in Lũng Cú commune, Tuyên Quang, and list it among the flower stops. A few dates in the same notices are not today’s. The ministry on 13 October sets a second “Tinh thần đá” rock show for 31 October in the geopark and prints no hour. Its 23 October piece names that show and prints no date. Fish Tet at Cốc Cai, Mậu Duệ, is dated 17 October in the 13 October notice. The portal on 22 October and VietnamPlus on 25 October list a fish festival at Mậu Duệ among activities already under way and do not give it another date. A Quản Bạ cultural space runs 11 through 15 October in the 13 October notice. The portal and VietnamPlus list a Quản Bạ cultural space and do not print those end dates. The Vietnam–China trade fair is 5 through 11 November at the provincial sports complex in Hà Giang 1 ward, about 300 booths, in the 13 October notice. The 23 October piece prints about 300 booths and no dates. Table tennis is mid-November in Hà Giang 1 ward, with no day, and a northern food festival is set in November, with no day. Check on arrival.
