Sa Pa agreed to upgrade the app that should know the mountain

Sa Pa would like an app that knows the terraces. On 13 October, at the ward office, the Sa Pa People’s Committee and IGB Group agreed to transfer two pieces of software, VietTimes reported. One is an upgrade of Sa Pa Tour, the smart-tourism programme carried over from when Sa Pa was a town. The other is a system for compensation and resettlement when the state recovers land, which is an office tool, not a guide. For the tourism app, the paper says the upgrade is meant to connect the ward, businesses, and visitors, to digitise destination information, and to add a digital map, more than one language, and tools that can use AI. Cao Bá Quý, chairman of the ward, said the point of the handover is practical use, not a slogan.
