Bai Lang is the landing on Hòn Lao, the only inhabited island. You step off the boat onto the shore road, with the pier, the houses, and the hill in one walk. Breakfast stalls line that coast road. The 16 September 2025 heritage study puts lunch around 11:00–12:00 and the evening meal around 17:00–18:00. A night here is a village house after the day boats have gone back to Cửa Đại.
