The daily market packs hạt bàng, roasted with salt or candied, at 250,000–400,000 đồng per kilogram, plus mắm nhum, mắm hàu, one-sun squid, and one-sun mackerel. Peak-season kernels are sometimes bought in from the mainland.
The night yard in front of the same market, on Võ Thị Sáu and Phạm Văn Đồng, is for eating, from 17:00. The bags are the daytime purchase.
