Ho Chi Minh City to Can Gio
Go by road and the Bình Khánh ferry. It is about 50 km and about 1.5 to 2 hours to the mangrove forest. The Cần Giờ bridge is not open yet, so the short ferry over the Soài Rạp is still the crossing. Avoid public holidays, when the ferry queue can run to hours.
