The Confucian temple of 1070 and the university of 1076, west of the old commercial streets.
The courtyards
Walk through the Khue Van gate into the courtyards, past old trees and a square pond in the third courtyard. Go in the morning, before the courtyards fill. The daytime ticket is 70,000 VND, and the evening programme on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday has its own ticket. Metro Line 3 stops at Van Mieu.
