The lesson beach is the Ham Tien sand, west of the fishing ward. A first lesson fits the gentler morning wind. From 11:00 to 16:00 the thermal wind is the stronger window, October to April, with IKO instructors on the main beach strip. The breeze also holds year-round.

You draw out the lines, air the kite, strap in, and ride. Day passes at seaside properties are a separate beach day. Sleep on this strip if the wind is why you came, and give the harbor the other morning.
