Hòn Tằm is the island beach 7 km from Nha Trang: white sand, palms, tropical forest, calm water, and water sports. Boats leave the island harbor through the day. Swim first. The flyboard and the jet ski are the loud half of the same shore.

Hoàng Hoa village is the quiet half: old houses, period furniture, and festivals of music, dance, food, and crafts. The scenic fee for this route is 8,000 VND a person each crossing. That fee does not buy the sports.
Getting there and around
Hòn Tằm is 7 km from Nha Trang, and boats leave the island harbor through the day. The scenic fee is paid for the crossing from the inland pier. The boat fare is separate.

From the inland pier
Pay the 8,000 VND Hòn Tằm scenic fee and the 3,000 VND pier charge, then the boat. Collection points are Bến tàu Du lịch Nha Trang and Bến thủy nội địa Phú Quý.

Ride to the boat pier, then cross. The island is 7 km out.

The resort and the water sports are separate from the scenic fee. The Hòn Tằm route is 8,000 VND a person each crossing, plus 3,000 VND for the pier. The fee excludes accident insurance. Children under 6 and Khánh Hòa residents are among those exempt. A child from 6 to under 16 pays half.
