Bãi Sao is the morning swim at the other end of the island. Sunset stays on Long Beach.
Bãi Sao
Bãi Sao is cát vàng óng, fine like a carpet, with calm clear water and green shade trees, about 25 minutes from the centre of Dương Đông. It is also called powder-white, and white, with coconut palms and green hills. Come early on a weekday. The island’s sunrise is this beach. The sunset beach is Long Beach.
Robinson huts and hammocks are on the sand, and a boat goes 15–30 km offshore to fish for squid and eat the catch on the boat. The snacks here are cùi biên mai nướng and rượu sim rừng. Jet skis, a water park, and parasailing are on offer. Entrance and parking are free. Western and Vietnamese food is served along the beach.
