Da Nang resort living
A private Son Tra bay under the headland, quieter Non Nuoc sand beside the Marble Mountains, or the long My Khe chairs when the East Sea is why you came.
Stay and tours
Da Nang is a beach city with three resort mornings that do not share a sidewalk. Sleep on Son Tra when the water outside the room should feel hidden. Sleep at Non Nuoc when the marble stair is the outing and the surf is still at the door. Sleep on My Khe or Vo Nguyen Giap when the swim, Hoang Sa seafood, and a night in An Thuong belong in one walkable loop.
Best months on the English city page run January to July. The Vietnamese page counts the dry season through September and puts the heaviest rain in October and November. Da Nang International Airport is a short ride from the river. Vietnam Airlines prints about 10 to 15 minutes and about 3 km to the center; the aviation AIP places the airport 3.2 km southwest of the city, and the city portal says 1 km east. Those three figures stay side by side. A transfer minute to a Son Tra or Non Nuoc gate was not printed. Check on arrival for that ride.
Choosing your coast, bay, or valley
01 Private peninsula cove
Son Tra
A secluded rainforest cove on the Son Tra headland, about 25 minutes by car from Da Nang Airport. Breakfast is the resort water, Linh Ung is the outing, and town is a car ride.
02 Quiet Marble Mountain strip
Non Nuoc
Sand between the Marble Mountains and the East Sea, on the road south toward Hoi An. Climb the marble hill in the morning and still be back in the water. The hills sit about 15 minutes from the center, and Hoi An is about 30 minutes on when the coastal road is open.
03 Walkable city surf
My Khe
The long city beach with the towers facing one sand. Swim free inside the buoy line while a rescuer is on duty. An Thuong's kitchens sit a few streets inland, and the beach night is the sand plus those lanes.
04 Resort-front city row
Vo Nguyen Giap
The same East Sea as My Khe, read from the resort gates at 103 to 105 Vo Nguyen Giap and the Pullman line. River hotels are the other base, for the museum and Dragon Bridge on foot, and they are a ride from this sand.
