Summit villas in the forest
Sleep in a summit villa only after a registration made a day ahead is accepted. That night makes the 800 m walk from Morin to the viewpoint a morning. A day ticket sends you back to the visitor center before 17:00. The room rate is Check on arrival. About 139 villas were finished in 1942, and the builders are Raoul Desmarest in 1933 and M. Girard in 1932.

The night is the villa the park has accepted, then the walk between the houses the trails use as starts. The houses named on the trails are Morin, Kim Giao, Đỗ Quyên, and nhà Bảo An. The viewpoint starts at Morin. The five pools start near Kim Giao. About 139 villas were finished in 1942, one of seven high resorts in Indochina. Some are ruins and some were restored.

Who built them is not one story. One account gives Raoul Desmarest, a public-works engineer, in March 1933, after days of walking, and about 139 villas on the mid-slope. Another gives M. Girard in 1932, with the resort complete in 1942 from 1,200 m to a 1,440 m summit, nearly 139 villas, a market, a post office, a grocery, and a 19 km road from the highway. A third gives Girard in 1932, 139 villas by 1937, a forest reserve in 1937, a protected area in 1962, and a national park in 1991. The 1962 date is in that account only.
A large campfire is 500,000 đồng from 19:30 to 22:00. A small campfire is 300,000 đồng. The prices exclude a tax invoice. The hour the summit goes quiet after 22:00 is Check on arrival. Do not plan the evening on a day ticket. That traveler is already due back at the visitor center before 17:00.
Getting there and around
The villas are the summit base. A day from the gate still starts at the visitor center before 09:00. The gate-to-summit road is about 16 km and about 4–5 hours on foot, or a car of 16 seats or fewer hired at the gate. A May 2025 shuttle list still prices that ride. From 1 Jan 2026 motor vehicles stop at km 12.
From the gate
One rule, from 1 Jan 2026, is to walk about 500 m across the slip at km 12, then about 7 km on foot to the viewpoint. Another, from June 2026, is about 600 m on a path around the slip, then a motorbike or more walking. The two distances disagree, and the shuttle list is still up. Check on arrival which one the gate is using. Drive minutes from Hue, Lang Co, and Da Nang are Check on arrival.
From a booked night
The viewpoint is 800 m of granite from biệt thự Morin. That is a short walk once you are at the villa. The heights do not agree: about 1,430 m, a historical summit of 1,440 m, 1,450 m above the bell, and higher than 1,400 m.

Day visitors return to the visitor center before 17:00. A summit night needs a registration at least one day ahead.

A day ticket does not cover the evening. The large campfire runs 19:30–22:00. The hour the summit goes quiet after that is Check on arrival.
- Admission
Check on arrival for a room. The May 2025 price list does not give a villa rate. The park ticket on that list is 65,000 đồng for an adult and 25,000 đồng for a child, a pupil, a student, or a senior. Another list gives 60,000 đồng and 20,000 đồng. A large campfire is 500,000 đồng from 19:30 to 22:00. A small campfire is 300,000 đồng. Those prices exclude a tax invoice.
