Chợ hải sản Hàng Dương is on đường Thạnh Thới, beside bãi 30 tháng 4, about 50 m from the sand. You choose sò, ốc, cua, ghẹ, tôm, or mực and the stall cooks it, or you take a pan already on the fire. Steaming is 10,000 VND a kilogram, and rang muối, cháy tỏi, xào dừa, xào bơ, xào me, nướng mỡ hành, nướng phô mai, and nướng mọi are 30,000. Cook-to-order is also a few tens of thousands of đồng, and hấp xả lá chanh is among the cooks. A busy day can mean a wait of about 30–40 minutes. One seller sold from about 7:00 until about 21:00.
Salt from the pans
Salt is the thing people carry home from the December–May pans along đường Duyên Hải, at Lý Nhơn, and on đảo Thiềng Liềng. About 1,500 ha, and about 1,200 ha in production.
