Chợ cổ, the old market hall, sits on the Ninh Kiều walk with Chùa Ông, on Hai Bà Trưng in phường Ninh Kiều. A first building went up around 1915. Come in the daytime and walk the hall.
After dark the night market on that street sells fruit, clothes, jewelry, handicrafts, and seafood along a paved lane. Stalls set up around 16:00 and trade from 17:00 to 22:00. The quay snack row, about 16:00 to 19:00, may be this crowd or the park stalls beside it. A line of 98 Phan Đình Phùng matches the tourism-centre block on other listings. It is not this market’s address.
Lotte Mart is at 84 Mậu Thân, with a cinema. Sense City, Big C, and Vinmart are the other large stores named in the city. The trip is still the hall and the night stalls.
