Lakeside square and festival stage
Walk out onto Lam Vien, the paved square on the edge of Xuan Huong Lake, for the open view across the water. It is a 30-minute stroll on an ordinary day and the stage for the flower festival in December 2026.

The square sits on Tran Quoc Toan, where the lake edge opens into a paved stage. An ordinary visit is a 30-minute stroll, and entry is free.

In December 2026 the square is also the festival stage. The flower festival opens here at 20:00 on 19 December 2026 and closes, with the New Year programme, at 20:00 on 31 December 2026. Flower displays run about 18 December 2026 to 3 January 2027 around the lake.
