Ride a jeep or hike up Lang Biang, the mountain north of Da Lat, for the view over pine ridges, farm valleys, and a lake far below. It is the half-day that shows you the highlands rather than the town. Go early, when the cloud is still off the top.

Lang Biang rises north of the city, and the tourism zone at 93A Bidoup is the way up. The green jeeps carry you toward the viewpoints, or you hike it. From the top the land opens out: pine ridges, farm valleys, and water in the hollows below.

Give it a half day with the ride out and back. The gate sells packages, so choose the jeep if you want the view without the climb, and bring a layer from November to January.
Getting there and around
Lang Biang is north of the centre, at the tourism zone on 93A Bidoup. Take a taxi or Grab from Xuan Huong Lake, or ride a motorbike if you hold the right licence.

155,000–420,000 VND depending on the package (Visit Lâm Đồng, Langbiang Land). The package sets whether the jeep is included. Confirm at the gate. The provincial page gives about 60 minutes for the visit itself; with the road, plan a half day.
