Tuyen Lam Lake Hồ Tuyền Lâm
Pine reservoir south of town
Boat or walk the pine shore of Tuyen Lam, the reservoir south of Da Lat. It sits south of the centre, under the monastery hill, and it is a different lake from the one in town. The shore stop is about an hour. A boat is a separate fare, so check it on arrival. Skip it when the view from Truc Lam is enough and you do not want the water.

Tuyen Lam is the reservoir south of town, with pines along the water. Walk the shore, or take a boat out. It is not the lake in the centre, and it is not the monastery: Truc Lam sits on the hill above this water.

Follow Highway 20 for about 5 km up Prenn Pass, then turn left for about 1 km. The shore visit is about an hour. A boat is extra, so check the fare on arrival. Come on a clear morning, when the hills read across the water.
Getting there and around
The lake is south of the centre. From Xuan Huong Lake, take a taxi or a motorbike if you hold the right licence. The road is Highway 20, about 5 km up Prenn Pass, then left about 1 km.
