Bar and kitchen lanes behind My Khe
Walk the small streets a few blocks inland from My Khe after dark, when the bars, kitchens, lanterns, and spa boards light up close enough to wander between. The quarter runs from the beach road at Vo Nguyen Giap inland to Chau Thi Vinh Te. Give it the evening after a swim, and skip it if you sleep on the river and want an early night.

Come after the swim and walk the small streets inland of My Khe. The city named this tourist quarter in January 2018 and set the name stone that April at the corner of Vo Nguyen Giap and Hoang Ke Viem. It covers about 0.15 km², beach included, and counted 141 businesses serving visitors in 2018.

The lanes are the night: bars and kitchens a block or two from the sand. Firebirds is the inland cocktail bar at 2D My Khe 7, one turn off Vo Nguyen Giap. Its own site does not print a clock. On the beach road, Kalà Kalà at 51 Vo Nguyen Giap and Esco Beach at Lo 12 Vo Nguyen Giap are the DJ clubs. East West Brewing’s taproom faces My Khe and pours until 01:00. Those sand rooms are not the lanes.
The night market at No. 4 An Thuong 4 is a separate stop: about 40 stalls, open in the evening and free to enter. Treat it as one stall row, not the quarter.
Getting there and around
The quarter begins at Vo Nguyen Giap, the beach road behind My Khe. The name stone stands at the Hoang Ke Viem corner, and the lanes run inland as far as Chau Thi Vinh Te. Walk in from a hotel on that stretch of sand. From a Han River hotel, cross the river by Grab.
If the night is on the beach, search beachfront hotels.
From My Khe
Walk. Turn inland off Vo Nguyen Giap at Hoang Ke Viem or Ngo Thi Si.
From the Han River
By Grab or taxi across the river.
