Central Market I
Chợ Trung tâm I is the city’s wholesale market, in the old phường Tân Thanh, now inside phường Điện Biên Phủ. It opened in 1992 with about 150 kiosks.
Muong Thanh walking street
Phố đi bộ Mường Thanh, beside the Nậm Rốm, opened on the evening of 7 March 2026 during Ban flower week. The plan is local goods, OCOP, and highland cloth. Most booths were not yet trading on 23 March 2026. Weekday trade has been given as afternoon and evening, and the weekend as running through the day. The Saturday yard under the monument is about 3,000 m² and holds cultural programs on Saturday evenings and on holidays. Him Lam Plaza, in the old phường Tân Thanh, is one of two rank-III trade centers in the province.
Nguyen Chi Thanh night market
A 2012 night market on Nguyễn Chí Thanh ran from the Trần Đăng Ninh junction to the provincial youth-house crossing, 580 m, about 4,500 m², nearly 90 temporary stalls and more than 160 households, open daily 20:00–23:30. It is a different street from Phố đi bộ Mường Thanh. Ask locally whether it still opens.
