The gate and the short walls
Quảng Bình Quan explains the city mark. The citadel is the short walls beside it, not a court visit.
The portal calls Quảng Bình Quan the south gate, Cổng Hạ, of the Lũy Thầy line. Print both 1630 and 1631. The 1825 rebuild and the 1961 repair are on the ward page. The portal adds the near-destruction in 1965 and the later name Định Bắc trường thành.
Thành Đồng Hới is not a complete imperial city. The ward page says more than 200 years of wall remain only in pieces, with a moat, an east gate, and an arched bridge. Ho Chi Minh Square, 6.8 ha on Hùng Vương inside the same area, has no licensed photograph and is not a card.
The south gate
Look at the brick gate in daylight. A tour card prints a free label. No separate gate tariff was opened. The fee and the hours are check on arrival. The street number is check on arrival.
The short walls
Walk the restored stretches with the gate. The heritage list places Thành Đồng Hới in Đồng Hải. The ward page places the remaining walls in the old Hải Định ward. Use both. Do not promise a Hue citadel.
