Why it matters

The 11 February 2021 account sets the tray on the ancestor altar at Tết Síp Xí, on the 14th of the seventh lunar month, at Tết, and for guests, often as a five-petal ban flower. Red is the will to live, purple is fertile land, yellow is plenty, green is the forest and the sky, and white is faithful love. The 4 September 2020 account ties the five colors to âm, dương, the five elements, and solidarity. Those meanings are not one list.
