District 1 is the late lounge night. Thảo Điền is the leafy riverside evening, a metro ride east.

District 1 lounges

Yunka is at 80 Đồng Khởi, Bến Nghé: Nikkei dinner first, then a bar and mini club with DJs until late. Bam Bam is listed at 41–43 Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa. Sinners Room is listed at 104 Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa. Bam Bam and Sinners Room hours are Check on arrival.

Bùi Viện is the later walking street of bars and stalls, about 850 metres through Phạm Ngũ Lão. Nguyễn Huệ is the sundown paving. Sleep on Đồng Khởi or Nguyễn Huệ when those lounge doors are the night.

Thao Dien after dark

Thảo Điền is the riverside hangout: cafes and dinner rooms, then a quieter evening than District 1. Lupin is at 17 Nguyễn Cừ. SÓNO is at 215B37 Nguyễn Văn Hưởng, Tuesday–Sunday 17:00–23:00. Amane is the nigiri room on Lê Thánh Tôn in the centre, opposite Saigon Sky Garden, not on Xuân Thủy. Metro Line 1 from Bến Thành stops at the station named Thảo Điền.
