Dai Yem Waterfall Thác Dải Yếm

Two limestone drops you hear before you see

Walk down to two limestone drops at Ban Vat, the fall you hear before you see. A pool sits under the lower water, and a red glass bridge crosses above the falls. The drop is over 100 m, and the first fall is also about 70 m. Skip it when the tea rows are the only morning you wanted.

Walk down to the limestone falls at Ban Vat. The water comes in two parts, with a pool under the lower drop. You hear it before you see it. A red glass bridge crosses above the falls. An older description of the stair paths does not mention that bridge. The bridge is the later feature.

Keep both heights. The drop is over 100 m. The first fall is also about 70 m and in three tiers, with a first tier about 40 m deep, about 70 m wide, and about 50 m high. The two falls are about 200 m apart, and also 150 m apart, with a sheet about 70 m wide when the water is full.

The fullest water is April to September. The first fall’s lip is also May to September, and the second fall April to September. The 18 Jan 2022 provincial recognition names the site. The fee, the hours, and how long you stay are check on arrival.

Getting there and around
