Best monthsApril to September for the falls; blossom weeks move

You come over the pass and the land opens into tea rows, pasture, and, in the cold weeks, white plum blossom on a valley. Stay if that morning is the trip. Sleep in Mai Chau if you wanted the rice valley before the pass. Do not book Son La city when the plateau night is the point.

Dai Yem Waterfall
Dai Yem Waterfall

The bed is a small hotel or homestay in the farm town, or a Thai stilt house at Ban Ang, about 2 km south on National Highway 43, under the pine. No hotel brand is a pick. After dark the walk is the farm-town walking street and night market around the Pha Luong light park, a ground of more than 2 ha with nearly 60 stalls. Festival nights move to Square 08-5 in phường Mộc Châu. Weekends are the fuller nights.

Give the morning to the tea rows or the dairy pasture, then Dai Yem or Na Ka depending on the month. Na Ka is the blossom and harvest valley. The dairy stop is the morning cup. The published heights for Dai Yem sit together on the fee line: over 100 m, and a first fall of about 70 m.

Bat Cave, also called Son Moc Huong, is the roadside cave on the way across the plateau. Pha Luong is the high point at 2,000 m, and also nearly 2,000 m. The heart-shaped tea hills are at Tan Lap. Do not sit on the bushes.
