Walk the 2.4 hectare memorial at xóm Khê Thuận. Stop at the statue, then go into the house of evidence. The bureau dates the killings to 16 March 1968. Inside, the page names a bronze tray with bullet holes, a child’s clothes and sandals, broken pots, a monk’s wooden bell, and a hair clip kept for eight years. Outside the fence, stelae mark the hamlet sites.
