The white statue

Christ the King, 32 metres, on Small Mountain above Pineapple Beach.

The figure is Christ the King, arms out, on Small Mountain. It dates to 1974, stands 32 metres, and the climb is about 800 steps to the feet and about 100 more to the shoulders. Entry is free. A motorbike taxi can take you up if you skip the steps.

Mary on Big Mountain is also 32 metres, holding a child, and she is a different figure. The lighthouse shares this headland: one line places the tower in the early twentieth century, and another calls it the oldest lighthouse in Vietnam. Come at sunset for the view over the sea.
