White Villa
Bach Dinh, started in 1898, on the Front Beach side of Big Mountain.
Stop at the white villa on the afternoon walk toward the Big Mountain summit. Work started in 1898. It is a late-1800s house, now a museum of local artefacts, with gardens and verandas toward the sea. The building is given as 4 Trần Phú, and the relic list as 6 Trần Phú.
One hour line is Tuesday–Friday 7:30–11:30 and 13:30–17:00, with Saturday–Sunday 7:30–17:00. Another is Tuesday–Sunday 8:00–17:00. The door is closed Monday. The French battery on the same hill still has six cannons, each about four metres and over 15 tons.
