Zen monastery on the Phong Điền road
Large Zen monastery of tiled halls on nearly 4 ha: walk its courts on your Phong Điền orchard loop. It is the largest Zen monastery in the delta, built in the Lý–Trần style with timber columns and tiled roofs. It stands a few hundred metres from Mỹ Khánh, about 15 km from the centre. Go in the daytime, after the morning boats.

Thiền viện Trúc Lâm Phương Nam covers nearly 4 ha and is the largest Zen monastery in the delta. The halls follow the Lý–Trần style, with timber columns, tiled roofs, and floors of ship tiles.

The monastery is on đường Mỹ Nhơn, a few hundred metres from Mỹ Khánh village and about 15 km from the centre. Pair the two on the same road, after the dawn boats.
