Pilgrimage hall at the foot of Núi Sam
Pilgrimage hall at Núi Sam: stand on the offering steps and see the statue before the festival crowds. People bring whole pigs, roast chickens, fruit, rice cakes, and pink lotus. The statue is said to have been found on the mountain about 200 years ago, and the present hall began in the early 19th century as a bamboo-and-leaf shrine. In the fourth lunar month, come at the start of the day.

Stand on the steps and watch what people bring: whole pigs, roast chickens, fruit, rice cakes, and pink lotus, with incense in front of the statue inside. The statue is said to have been found on the mountain about 200 years ago. The present hall sits at the foot of Núi Sam. It began in the early 19th century as a bamboo-and-leaf shrine and was later rebuilt with curved southern roofs.

This is the heart of the national tourism area, and the place the 2026 festival opened. On an ordinary morning the visit is the hall and the steps, then Tây An and the tomb.
The shrine is in phường Vĩnh Tế, at the mountain. Come at the start of the day in the fourth lunar month.
Getting there and around
The temple is at the foot of Núi Sam, in phường Vĩnh Tế. Use the same road as the rest of the hill. The hill is about 5 to 7 km from the city.
