Flooded cajuput forest 23 km out: walk the bamboo bridge and boat the water for a half day among the birds. The gate is 120,000 VND. The motorboat and the rowboat are 60,000 VND each. Buy the boat if the water is the visit. August to November is the high-water window.

Trà Sư is the wetland west of the Hậu, a conservation forest of about 845 to 850 ha, planted from the 1980s on acid lowland. You walk the bamboo bridge and take a tắc ráng, a motor sampan, or a rowed three-plank boat through duckweed, lotus, and water hyacinth, watching birds. More than 70 bird types use the forest.

The bamboo bridge runs from about 2.2 km to more than 3.8 km. The long span is called Vạn bước xuyên rừng. A guide is 300,000 VND for up to 3 hours.
Go in flood season if the water is the point. High water runs from August to November, the same window as the floating villages. The forest is also green in the dry season. Buy the boat ticket if the water is the visit you wanted.
Getting there and around
The forest is 23 km from Châu Đốc by road. The spillway trip on the Vĩnh Tế canal is a separate trip.

Hours and fees

06:30–18:30 every day. The bicycle loop is 07:00–16:00. Bird decks run 06:00–09:00 and 14:00–19:00, so the last light falls between 18:30 and 19:00. Confirm the last boat at the gate.

From 1 November 2024: gate 120,000 VND a guest. Motorboat 60,000 VND a guest return. Rowboat 60,000 VND a guest. Children under 1.3 m free. From 1.3 m, the adult price. A guide is 300,000 VND for up to 3 hours. The observation tower is separate. Spillway trips are separate: 500,000 VND a guest for a group under 5, or 100,000 VND a guest return for a group of 5 or more. Confirm the boat price at the gate.
