Thuan Phuoc Bridge Cầu Thuận Phước

Where the Han meets the sea

Cross the long suspension bridge at the mouth of the Han, where the river meets the bay, on the road out to Son Tra. It runs 1,856 meters, with a 655-meter suspension span, and is the view of the city's edge from the car window. See it on the way to Linh Ung, not as its own outing.

Cross it if you are already going that way. The bridge stands where the Han reaches the bay, and the road continues toward Son Tra. It opened to traffic on 19 July 2009, with a total length of 1,856 meters, a suspension span of 655 meters, and a width of 18 meters.

It is a road, not a gated sight. From the Son Tra side it sits smaller in the view, behind the trees. Do not plan a separate half-day around it.

Getting there and around

Ride toward Son Tra along Nguyen Tat Thanh. The west end is the junction with Nhu Nguyet. On the east side the road continues to Hoang Sa and Truong Sa (Vo Nguyen Giap on the English portal page).

If the night is on the beach, search beachfront hotels.

Toward Son Tra

The bridge is on the coastal road. Cross it on the way to Linh Ung.

From the river

By Grab or car up Nguyen Tat Thanh.
