Walk the campaign museum. The building opened in 1984 for the 30th anniversary, was reworked at the end of 2003, and then had five galleries, 274 objects, and 122 paintings. Those counts are that rework. They are not a current inventory. The visit is the galleries, on this building’s own ticket.

Three clocks are in use. The standing seasonal hours are every day, summer 7:00–11:00 and 13:30–18:00, winter 7:00–11:00 and 13:30–17:30. From 13 July 2026 until a newer change, the hours are 7:30–12:00 and 13:30–21:00. A third clock is 7:00–11:00 and 13:30–17:00. Check which one the gate is using. Tết hours are check on arrival. The ticket desk is at Tổ 1, phường Điện Biên Phủ. The building address is Tổ dân phố Mường Thanh, phường Điện Biên Phủ. An older line still reads Phố 1, P. Mường Thanh, TP. Điện Biên Phủ. All three stay. Adults, Vietnamese or foreign, pay 100,000 VND a visit from age 18. Half price for ethnic residents of the province, older people, people named in the cultural-access decision, and people with severe disability. Free under 18, veterans, organized students and soldiers with a plan, and people with especially severe disability. Bring the paper if you are in a reduced or free group. The ticket is for that day and is not refunded. The other figure is 5,000 VND a person for one of five sites at the museum. A guide is booked at the ticket desk. A guide price is check on arrival.
