Where it comes from

Ban Ang. Vietnam Tourism, and the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism’s 2012 feature. The Tourism Information Technology Center also names fermented wine drunk from bamboo tubes in the villages.

How to enjoy it

Share it from the gourd through the bamboo tube, with the village meal.

It is kept apart from leaf-yeast wine, corn wine, and rượu hoẵng, because the sources use those names too.

Where to try it

Bản Áng, about 2 km south of the farm town on National Highway 43. The night market sells unnamed specialty wines. That line is not this jar.
