Why it matters
The sheets are bột gạo and slow to make, and they appear at cúng, giỗ, weddings, and rites at the đình and the pagoda. Phú Yên’s tourism office says a visit without them has not happened.
How to enjoy it
Take a sheet with the pork or offal, scallion fat, herbs, and the garlic-chilli sauce. Some cooks add rice paper and a bowl of cháo lòng on the side.
