History

The city introduction says Cu Hai was nicknamed Cu Đơ because deux is two in French, a joke on Governor Decoux. He was from Hương Sơn and set the candy on bánh tráng instead of a paper you had to peel. Other stalls copied it, and the name stayed.

How to enjoy it

Eat it with the green tea. The city introduction names the sweetness of the candy, the smell and the sharp-sweet tea, and the peanut.

Where to try it

With the tea, not a separate address. Ask locally for the current stall.
