Across the river, and west of town
Kim Bồng is the carpentry village across the river. Thanh Hà is the pottery village west of town. Both are a morning by bicycle or a short ride.
Kim Bong Carpentry Village The carpentry village on the south bank of the Thu Bồn, opposite the old town. Watch carvers and boatbuilders in a craft dating from about the 16th century, national intangible heritage since 2016. Go in the morning. 
Thanh Ha Pottery Village The pottery village about 3 km west of the old town on the Thu Bồn, at the wheel for more than 500 years. Its kilns made the roof tiles on the old houses. Go in the morning.
