The Thủ Khoa Huân statue and vườn hoa Lạc Hồng sit at đường 30/4 and Trưng Trắc, old phường 1, now phường Mỹ Tho. The old station stood here. Walk it late afternoon.
After dark the pier food court is open from 18:30 to 02:00. A night market at số 8 đường 30/4 runs from 18:00, busiest 19:00–22:00. 288 Club at 288 Phạm Thanh, old Phường 5, is 20:00–02:00. That ward is now inside phường Đạo Thạnh.
