Walk the pagoda on Nguyễn Trung Trực, in phường Mỹ Phong. It dates from the 19th century and was heavily repaired in 1849, with an Asian and European mix. The hall reads as one stupa and two side peaks, five towers in all. The two triple gates are mosaics of broken ceramics.

Inside, look for a relief of eight immortals on animals, a life-size bronze Tam Tôn set, and the wooden Eighteen Arhats carved in 1907. One count gives the Buddha hall 60 precious wood statues. Keep both: the 60 statues, and the arhat set with the bronze triad. It was named a national historical relic in 1984.
Come in the morning, before the heat. Give the courts about 120 minutes, then leave for the pier. Electric-cart route 1 follows Nguyễn Trung Trực from số 01 Hoàng Sa. The cart runs 07:00–22:00, and route 1 is 40,000 VND a guest. The courtyard, the outdoor Buddha, and the gates are this same visit.
