Walk the court of a small pagoda under the cliff in thôn Chi Phong, xã Trường Yên, inside the old capital. The foundation dates to the Dinh and Early Le, around the 10th century. The local story is Lê Thị Phất Ngân and Lý Công Uẩn. Pair it with the temples and with Am Tien.

The pagoda stands in thôn Chi Phong, xã Trường Yên, huyện Hoa Lư, between the river and the cliff of the Tràng An country. The foundation dates to the Dinh and Early Le, around the 10th century. Princess Lê Thị Phất Ngân, daughter of Lê Đại Hành, made a marriage promise here with Lý Công Uẩn, and their son Lý Phật Mã, later Lý Thái Tông, was born in 1000. The pagoda took the name Duyên Ninh after Lý Thái Tông put down the revolt of Khai Quốc Vương, and the queen spent her last years here watching her father's tomb.
