Queen’s cove
Ghềnh Ráng’s egg stones, about 3 km southeast of the center.
Egg-shaped stones the sea has rounded line the cove called bãi tắm Hoàng Hậu, because Nam Phương Hoàng Hậu bathed here. Also here: a Vọng Phu rock, a lion-shaped rock, bãi tắm Tiên Sa, and Hàn Mặc Tử’s grave on the hillside. Bảo Đại chose Ghềnh Ráng as a royal retreat from 1927. The visit is free, open 7:00–18:00. The area is about 3 km southeast.
Bãi Xếp is 13 km south on quốc lộ 1D, two crescent beaches in a fishing village.
