Silt beach beside the market: walk the shore for a late afternoon after you eat. The sand sits about 50 m from chợ Hàng Dương and comes up dark from river silt. Use the late hour of a forest day here, and ask on the sand before you swim.

Bãi 30 tháng 4 sits beside chợ Hàng Dương, on đường Thạnh Thới, in xã Cần Giờ. The sand is about 50 m from the market and dark from river silt. Walk off the stalls and sit on the shore after you eat.

Come after the forest gate closes, when the market is cooking. One stall there has sold from about 7:00 until about 21:00. If you slept in town, the same shore is the morning walk.

From the beach town, walk from chợ Hàng Dương on đường Thạnh Thới. The sand is about 50 m from the market.
From Ho Chi Minh City, the road runs about 50 km to phà Bình Khánh, about 1 hour 30 minutes to about 2 hours, and the beach is in the town after that crossing.

Nguyễn Văn Linh and Huỳnh Tấn Phát to the Bình Khánh ferry, then the town. About 50 km, about 1 hour 30 minutes to about 2 hours. On the water the crossing is about 10–15 minutes, about 1.2 km. From 18 March 2026 a walk or bicycle is 3,000 VND and a motorbike is 8,000 VND.
