Forest centre for the creek boats
Mangrove boat centre: pay the road gate and ride a creek for half a day. The 60,000 VND gate includes the shuttle and leaves the boat extra. Be out by 17:00 if the beach town is your evening.

Pay at the road gate, ride the shuttle, and pick a boat at cầu Dần Xây. The circuit takes in the wild-monkey reserve, a crocodile swamp, a caged fishing boat, Tràm Chim, Đầm Dơi, a forest walk, and tháp Tang Bồng. The gate is in tiểu khu 15A. From 1 July 2025 that ground sits inside xã An Thới Đông. The reserve holds more than 1,000 long-tailed macaques, and also over 2,000 monkeys.

The road gate is 60,000 VND with the shuttle. Under 6 is free, ages 6–11 pay half, and over 11 is an adult ticket. A canoe from cầu Dần Xây runs from 1,075,000 VND for one person to 270,000 VND a person once nineteen share the boat, or from 270,000 VND to 895,000 VND. The wooden boat to Đầm Dơi is capped at two hours. The bird reserve is 55,000 VND from May through October. The gate is 8:00–17:00 every day.
A family room for two at the centre is 600,000 VND on a weekday night and 750,000 VND on a weekend night, with breakfast included. These are the centre’s own rooms. Be out by 17:00 if Hàng Dương is the evening.
Getting there and around
From Ho Chi Minh City, follow Nguyễn Văn Linh and Huỳnh Tấn Phát to phà Bình Khánh. The road is about 50 km, about 1 hour 30 minutes to about 2 hours. On the water the crossing is about 10–15 minutes, about 1.2 km on the Soài Rạp. After the ferry, follow đường Rừng Sác to the road gate or to cầu Dần Xây.

From Ho Chi Minh City
Nguyễn Văn Linh, then Huỳnh Tấn Phát, to the Bình Khánh ferry, then đường Rừng Sác. About 50 km, about 1 hour 30 minutes to about 2 hours. From 18 March 2026 a walk or bicycle is 3,000 VND and a motorbike is 8,000 VND.
