Rebuilt camp in the mangrove: walk the shelters for a few hours on a forest morning. Adult entry is 35,000 VND, and the gate runs 7:30–17:30. The canoe is a separate ride. Buy this ticket apart from the Vàm Sát road gate.

You walk, or you take a canoe, into the rebuilt camp on đường Rừng Sác, in xã Cần Giờ. The ground holds observation posts, a workshop, an information house, hideouts, a medical station, a supply house, and figures of Unit 10. The national historic listing dates to 2004.

Adult entry is 35,000 VND a visit. Children under 7 go free, and children from 7 to under 16, pupils, and students pay half. The gate runs 7:30–17:30. Come in the morning, and keep this ticket separate from the Vàm Sát road gate.
Defoliant was sprayed across this forest from 1964 to 1972, and more than 80 percent of the old mangrove died. The camp is the rebuilt base of Unit 10, from 1966 to 30 April 1975. A canoe into the camp is a separate ride from the walk-in ticket.
Getting there and around
From Ho Chi Minh City the road is the same ferry approach as Vàm Sát, then đường Rừng Sác. The trip is about 50 km, about 1 hour 30 minutes to about 2 hours. Đường Rừng Sác itself runs about 30 km through the trees.

From Ho Chi Minh City
Nguyễn Văn Linh and Huỳnh Tấn Phát to the Bình Khánh ferry, then đường Rừng Sác. About 50 km, about 1 hour 30 minutes to about 2 hours. From 18 March 2026 a walk or bicycle is 3,000 VND and a motorbike is 8,000 VND.

Đường Rừng Sác, the forest road of about 30 km of trees, back toward the ferry side of the reserve.

Half price: children from 7 to under 16, pupils, and students. A canoe into the camp is a separate ride from the walk-in ticket.
