Start with bún cá and coffee at the edge of the hall, then walk inside for mắm. Fish pickled with palm sugar, salt, chili, and garlic sits in the open, with tamarind, jellied sweets, and more fish. On the waterfront, boats unload produce. Flowers, fruit, and vegetables line the sidewalk. Look up at the old shop-sign lettering.

Two halls both carry the name Chợ Châu Đốc: the white front with the fan window, and the blue hall on the street. Season the bún cá with chili and lime. A bowl is about 10,000–30,000 VND. Ask at the stall.
The hall is open 05:30–18:00 every day. Chợ quê làng Chăm in Đa Phước is a different walk from this hall.

The market is in the town center, phường Châu Đốc. If your room is on the river, walk. From a bungalow on Núi Sam, come by road.
