The older Nhật Lệ bridge, palms, and the far bank

The ward page starts the day on the river path, looking across to Bảo Ninh, then toward the mouth. Boats use the water. Coconuts mark the far bank. The market, the Mother Suốt statue, and the bridges sit on the same walk. Early is the hour that page names.

Do not merge the two bridges. A visitor note describes Cầu Nhật Lệ as 635 m long, 12 m wide, 15 spans, begun in June 2002 and finished two years later. That is the multi-span bridge in these frames. Nhật Lệ 2, on the ward page, is one A-tower, two spans of 150 m, and a tower of 98 m, lit at night. No photograph here shows that whole tower, so it is not a sight card.
