St Joseph's Cathedral Nhà thờ Lớn Hà Nội

The twin-tower church at 40 Nha Chung

Stand in the square at 40 Nha Chung, just west of Hoan Kiem, and look up at the two stone towers of St Joseph's, the clock between them, and the statue in front. The facade and the square are the visit, an easy stop on the lake walk. Come back after dark, when the clock is lit.

The church faces a small square at 40 Nha Chung, west of Hoan Kiem. You see the two stone towers, the clock, and the statue in front. Stand back across the square to get both towers in one frame.

Fit it between the lake and the lanes north of it: the cathedral sits on the west side of that walk. If the doors are shut, the facade and the square are still the visit, and the towers read again after dark with the clock lit.
