Two buildings on one ticket

One ticket covers two buildings. Start at the long yellow facade at 1 Trang Tien, south of Hoan Kiem, for Vietnam from prehistory to 1945, then cross to 216 Tran Quang Khai for the mid-19th century to the present. The museum shuts for a long lunch, so go early in the morning or after 13:30.

The ticket covers two addresses. 1 Trang Tien holds the displays from prehistory to 1945. 216 Tran Quang Khai holds the displays from the mid-19th century to the present. The building at Trang Tien is the yellow facade south of Hoan Kiem, near the Opera House.

The doors close from 12:00 to 13:30, so split the two buildings across the morning and the afternoon, or do one well. A camera and a video camera are extra tickets. Tet has its own opening hours.

Getting there and around

1 Trang Tien is south of Hoan Kiem, near the Opera House. 216 Tran Quang Khai is the second building on the same ticket. Walk from the lake.
