One Pillar Pagoda Chùa Một Cột

A wooden pagoda on one stone pillar

See the small wooden pagoda raised on a single stone pillar above its pond, a short walk from the citadel and the mausoleum in Ba Dinh. It takes little time, so fold it into the Ba Dinh morning rather than making a separate trip, and go in the morning, when it is reliably open.
