Museum of Folk Culture Bảo tàng Văn hóa Dân gian
Folk culture in a house through to the river
A 57-metre merchant house at 33 Nguyễn Thái Học that runs through to Bạch Đằng on the river. Upstairs, 490 objects cover folk art, performance, traditional trades, and daily life; downstairs, the same crafts are demonstrated. Give it a museum hour. The house itself is half the visit.

Upstairs, 490 objects cover four themes: folk visual art, folk performance, traditional trades, and daily life. Downstairs, the same crafts are demonstrated. Oil lamps, tools, and the performances are the visit; the house is the container.
It is open every day except the 20th of the month. Entry is part of the old-town ticket.
Getting there and around
Walk to 33 Nguyễn Thái Học, the street closer to the river than Trần Phú. The house also opens onto Bạch Đằng.
