Walk the triple gate, the courtyard, and the halls that face the sea. Thiền viện Trúc Lâm Hộ Quốc stands in ấp Suối Lớn, xã Dương Tơ. The coastal road has the sea on one side and a limestone hill on the other. The spiritual project covers over 110 ha, and also 110 ha, with the temple itself at about 13.2 ha and the rest forest. The buildings follow Lý and Trần form. The temple was inaugurated in 2012, on 14 December 2012. The main works are the main hall, the ancestor house, and the triple gate, with lim-wood columns.

The temple is about 25 km from thị trấn Dương Đông. The gate takes no ticket, and parking is a donation. A free vegetarian lunch runs from 11:00 to 17:00 beside the main hall. Read the board at the gate for the day’s hours. The white figure and the gold roofs in the courtyard are the frame you came for.
Getting there and around
Chùa Hộ Quốc is about 25 km from thị trấn Dương Đông, in ấp Suối Lớn, xã Dương Tơ. The last stretch is a coastal road, sea on one side and a limestone hill on the other. Go by motorbike or car and leave the bike at the gate.

From the south road
